Ok, so i havent played to many mmorpg's, so don't judge. However, i'm a huge fan of the actual RPG D&D straight from the book... i just havent played since i got pretty hehe. So can someone put the game rules into simple terms for me.. just so i dont get banned in the first two weeks for life for attacking a moderator or something.. ( **** evercack )

Pretty girls can play DnD. I mean the inverse is that myself, an insanely handsome fellow, is currently seeking a new tabletop group. Though there don't seem to be many in central kansas....
As for your real question... nope. Fake it until you make it :D

/thinks pretty girl needs to do some research instead of getting things handed to her.
1st toon will suck, 2nd toon will probably suck worse because you'll think you know what you're doing.
Really, just find a class you want to play, search for a character build, follow it step by step.
You won't be a gimped build and you'll figure out the rest along the way.

My really simple advice:

Download the game overnight
Pick a charachter that appeals to you & start playing
Run the Korthos quests (that's the starting area)
If your chatracter seems ok to you, proceed to Stormreach. If you don't like them, go to 2.
Now, you can go with premade paths or customize your character & play Korthos solo or group as you prefer - that's pretty much a matter of taste.

Good hunting!
