Look what we have in the forum rules:

6. You may not market, promote, advertise or solicit products or services for sale or trade within The Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach Community Forums. You may not post advertisements or links for websites that in this sort of business or are not directly related to The Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach.

Isn't what Tolero and the others do here on the forums exactly that?
They market, promote, advertise and solicit products and services by sending us over to the offer wall.
They also market, promote and advertise shady business and criminal activity by sending our information over to people that are known for their lack of caring for privacy rights.

Nice job, Turbine. Thank you for alienating your entire player base for some idiotic money-making scheme.

Geeze... Did you tell on mommy and daddy when they didn't go to bed at 9pm when you were a kid also?

What's with all the friggen drama? They promoted a product. You don't like it, then don't get it.

I'm not saying they have no right to do what they want on their own forums. Just stating the fact their violating their own forum rules, rightfully or not.

And if you seriously don't understand the 'hype' about the offer wall, then I think you can't be helped.

And I was saying they are following their rules as it was written from their point of view and the wording says 'you' (meaning us), if it said we (meaning turbine) then they would be subject to their own rules, but they are clearly excluded from them

You don't like it, then don't [even view the Offer Wall page since it will send your account name and email address to a very shady company].

Fixed that for you. :)

I dont understand what is so hard about just ignoring the silly thing...

I mean freecreditreport.com was not really free... you had to cancel...

some silly points are not really free... you gotta jump through hoops...

It's 2010, this kinda **** is everywhere, that pretty girl at the bar may not be a girl, and if something looks too good to be true...

Well it probably is.
