Why? Because three of a kind always beats two pairs, even if they are Aces and Kings.

Technically the term "X's over Y's" can be used to describe Two Pair, or a Full House.
Might as well just make a Guild named Royal Flush.

no, because you could call Kings over Aces, which could never happen in 2 pair, but would happen in a full house
and just fyi, if you're ever at a poker table, you call AAKK as Aces and Kings
that's two notches for tot in this thread... anyone else wanna piece?!

Just to split hairs a bit -
I was taught Aces *over* Kings is two pair.
Aces *full* of Kings is a full house.
Depends on region and how long you've been playing I guess.
Carry on.

Don't take my word for it - look it up. (sorry, I see you already did)
I find that the older players who have been playing the longest tend to call a full house "aces full of kings" and two pair "aces over kings." They tend to roll their eyes when a younger player calls their full house "aces over kings."
To avoid confusion, I always say "aces full" for a full house and "aces and kings" for two pair. Because while "aces over kings" might be wrong 50% of the time, "aces full of kings" is correct 100% of the time.
