The absolute max thf dps is commonly considered the pure fb and sure there are situations where the pure kensai has higher dps with the sos. But what i wanna know is - is that it? Is the best thf dps a very unimaginative uncreative build? It cant be..
What i was thinking ( forgive me if this is already a concept to some ) is take the kensai surge element from the monster builds (12 fight) and place and 8 barb onto that. A frenzied Kensai so to speak.
This Build im sure has made but i wanna know if any1 has ran the numbers.
Heres my first glance numbers
Frenzied Zerker
23 base str + 4 tome + + 7 item + 1 (litany) + 3 Excep + 12 rage + 4 Death Frenzy + 2 Frenzy + 2 barb capstone + 2 Frenzied zerker 2 (tod ring set)
60 Str
Frenzied Kensai
23 base str +4 tome +7 item +1 litany +3 excep + 8 kensai surge + 6 rage + 2 frenzy + 3 fighter enhancements
57 str
Now this is saying that max twinked before feats that the kensai is only 2 dmg/ 2 hit behind the zerker from str alone.
Now with kensai specs and having the extra feats for weapon specializations is it possible that the kensai's base dmg would overcome the frenzied zerkers extreme crit advantage?
