I see what you're doing, Dunker. Clever Girl.
I'm almost out of this training at camp slappy. If I told you the Truth, it would be a lie.
Unless Tolero posts a contest soon, I'll be taking my final exit stage right in May. It's been nice just hanging out on the forums these last few months, but there is enough blood leaving and little for me to do to make my stay a time sink. Still have a few Druid's Grove contests to run and hand out Dunk, er MY monies.
I was enjoying the Suggestions form for a time, but I continue to see "postulates" which are to appear as "better" suggestions than others. Most of the postulates tend to be metagaming suggestions that benefit players that do not necessarily have the twitch skills required to pull of the game. I'm all for a community's base being listened to and taking suggestions into account, but there are times when developers need to set down the logic halo around certain posters and realize the suggestions are posed to be "best" only in the way they were worded and are "best" for the poster him/herself. I think if the devs took a hardcore playtest group of regular D&D folk that enjoy an occasioanl SSI game on the computer and asked them to playtest DDO for 2 months (on pay) and then summarize a list of things that DDO could do to become more like D&D, that would be leaps and bounds ahead of the current Mournlands Model.

I unfortunately accept your choice in this Kist. The amount of Vets leaving is saddening to say the least.
