Thanks go out to Taimasan/Quis for building up this monks confidence. He had me tanking the jailer and kiting sully in ToD, neither of which I'd done before (only my second completion). After that he took me through my first 4 epic quests. All in all it was a confidence building night of great fun.

Im surprised your healer didnt just take off and leave the group to fend for themselves, and then lock them out of the end chest....

Step one complete, got my first ToD ring that same night (shintao set). I did have the jailer halfway down when the judge went down though. Can't wait till I get the ring up to holy burst and I can put on my metalline wraps. Now if I can just find metalline of deception or of sneak attack.

With pugs its sometimes safer to get the completion then risk Sully imo(no warforge, no intimitank, no backup heals, etc.) ;), it always ends up being a group decision. Although I know +4 tomes drop from sully chest, and have killed sully many times, I have never seen a +4 tome drop from the chest, only seen em pop from horoth's chest. Bad luck I guess :(.

With pugs its sometimes safer to get the completion then risk Sully imo(no warforge, no intimitank, no backup heals, etc.) ;), it always ends up being a group decision. Although I know +4 tomes drop from sully chest, and have killed sully many times, I have never seen a +4 tome drop from the chest, only seen em pop from horoth's chest. Bad luck I guess :(.

My first completion the cleric got (and looted) a +4 INT tome. Don't know which chest it was from, but we did take out sully that time.

The +4 int tome was the same run as the OP and dropped from the Horoth Chest.

Doh! You're absolutely right, that was the tome. Now I remember, my first completion we took out sully and had nothing more in all the loot than one ring (KotC for Singh) and the rest trash.

Now I hate to complete my KOTC set to be as elite as you baaldon, sucked I got kicked off right as we finished and system didn't allow me to relog for another day messed my timers up. But hey I don't get good raid loot unless I die ;)
