I've only been playing for 2 months and have tried some ranger builds up to lvl 8 or 10. I am now following the exploiter build but tweaked it a bit, i didn't take trap skills and have lower int which went to more str dex and con.

current stats with gear at lvl 16 are:
str - 26
dex - 22
con - 24
int - 8
wis - 20
cha - 14

current gear:
head - minos legen
eyes - blindess ward
neck - +6 wis
trinket - bloodstone or duskheart
cloak - +6 cha
belt - +6 str
armor - icy raiment +1 alch dodge
hands - spectral gloves
bracer - +7
ring 1 - +6 con
ring 2 - featherfall or disease immunity
boots - 30% strider

I just got flagged for shroud and reaver's fate, will start crafting gs dwarven axes soon.

my questions are:
1. for mainhand axe - minII - holy, acid burst, insight 4? or will acid, holy burst be better?
2. what should i put on my second gs dwarven axe?
3. what slot is optimal for putting +6 wis to maximize monk ac bonus?
4. which green steel item should i make after the weapons? cloak or helm, and what bonuses are advisable?

any advice would be appreciated. I have gone through the forums and have gotten some ideas on gear (though i am having difficulty finding some posts i have read before) but am still confused.

thanks

Few ideas:
Goggles - Tharne's (true seeing, search +15 + more that I forgot now)
Cloak - Green steel with wisdom, blindness and disease immunity and whatnot - consider concordant opposition as third
Belt - there are named +6 con greater false life belts
Ring / boots - could also be striding and boots firestorm if you can get them, or crafted boots. With con on the belt you have a ring free for something else. Poison immunity is handy, too. Yes there are pots and wands, but how often do you forget that or are dispelled?

Consider making the cloak first, then weapons. +5 metalline dwarfen axes of pure good will be ok dps-wise. And the last double upgrade costs you a sh**ton of reagents, whereas the cloak is already useful at upgrade level II.
I would go holy burst, but it might be more a question of taste. Second one: Do you want to be self-sufficient or go for straight dps? Triple pos can give you +30% healing amplification. If you solo a lot that can be quite helpful, but then the weapon is not transmuting. You still have a lot of +damage though (good blast etc).
