hey guys, i just bought the $50 pack ~4hours ago, and im not getting the points for it..... any suggestions? i paid for it with paypal, and i even have the confirmation for it.

EDIT:

I havent got the mail for it either... :( i really hope i havent wasted my money here.

as far as i know on using paypal to process fees on our online store.. there was a standard waiting time before releasing the product and toning down fraud claims in paypal.

we wait for at least 24hours max to 3days before we send the product. DDO may be different though, just stating my opinion. Better wait for 24 hours and send some info to the customer support via tickets.

also check if paypal indeed charged you.

If you have the confirmation, you can always contact Customer Support later (and/or duke it out with them). I think it may take up to 48 hours to process. At least, it sometimes takes up to 48 hours to upgrade accounts, so I'm thinking it might be the same. If it doesn't show up in 48 hours, submit a ticket or call Customer Support. Note that submitting a ticket usually takes a lot longer then just calling.

Since you're posting this in the F2P section and not account such. I assume that this is the first package you've bought?

Have you checked by logging out and then logging back into the game if your account has changed to Premium Account from Free Account in character select screen?

Also check https://myaccount.turbine.com/ to see if it stats that you are PREMIUM now instead of FREE.

Thanks guys, sucks that i have to wait for it, but i guess i have to, if it dosent happen tomorrow either... guess ill just take it to customer service, but i doubt that'll solve anything since everyone says Turbines Costumer Service is dismal.

If you paid with Paypal using your paypal balance, credit card, or direct withdrawal from bank, it should be immediate. If you have the email from paypal (and can confirm in the paypal history screen that the transaction went through), you'll have to contact account management.

If you used the e-check option in paypal (if it's even an option on turbine's end), it can take up to a week to clear.

a week..... is there any way to skip the wait, since i have the email from pay-pal...

EDIT:

It did have a little trouble but i cleared it, and its confirmed right now including the mail... so its going to take a week for me to get the points?

Well I was happy to say that the customer support got faster since september when I sign up. My fastest response to my support issue was 3 hours from 5 days..

It was getting faster, I am also outside the supported region which means a call to turbine will cost more than to dine in an expensive restaurant.

If you don't get them, file an account support email form on the website, you should get a reply within a few days.

Thank You very much tihocan =), i actually plan on calling them today, and see if i can get my points. Plus im not sure if this matters, but I bought the pack out of character. So from the ddo store on the char selection screen. Does it matter?

No, that doesn't matter. I've done that many times.
