View Full Version : Question about 20th completion rewards?

Is there a page that describes what becomes available for your 20th completion reward for each raid? I know for all raids it includes a selection of some (about half?) of the uniques that drop from that raid, as well as a chance at a tome. However, I know some raids like Shroud have a special cleansing thingy. So my questions are:
What level tomes do you get a shot at? For example for ToD is it +4 or nothing? Or is it +4 and below?
Is it just one kind of tome (i.e. only +3 cha or only +3 wis) or will it be a selection of +3 tomes of all 6 abilities?
Do other raids besides Shroud have raid-specific non-unique items?
Thanks!

All of the Raid loot can appear in the list.
All of that quests tomes can appear in the list.
ToD +4 Tomes
VoD/Hound/Abbot/Reaver's +3 Tomes
Titan/Plane/ADQ +2 Tomes
In chests for Epic you can get +3 Tomes from ADQ, and +4 Tomes from Plane of Night.
The types are tomes are you can get any of them. Just depends on what your list is.

In 20th Shroud completion end rewards, you always get a Cleansing Essence in your list. You also get one tome for each stat in the list. The tome for each stat can either be +2 or +3. I've had 20th Shroud completions where all I got was a selection of +2 tomes. I've also had 20th Shroud completions where I had almost all +3 tomes...it's just random.
Shroud (and perhaps Tempest's Spine?) is the only raid with non-unique items as end rewards.

Note that even if you run VoN6 (or ADQ) 20 times, all of them on Epic, the end reward list will only include the regular stuff. Quest givers neither know nor care what difficulty you went in on.

Also note that the 20th rewards are based proportionally on the drop chances of the loot in the actual chest; thus, in hound, the chain shirt will pop up more than Levik's shield, which will be more common than a +3 tome. In ToD, its considered rare to get a +4 tome from the end reward, because there are so many rings it can offer you instead, and those dilute the probabilities.

It sounds like 2nd poster and 3rd poster have conflicting statements. I know whether its +2 or +3 seems to vary, but do you get
A) A selection of tomes of ALL 6 abilities?
B) A selection of SOME tomes out of the 6 abilities?
C) A random SINGLE tome of one of the 6 abilities?
Thanks for the help so far, would appreciate clarification on this point.

Re-read the second sentence in my post.

They do not conflict; Daehawk talks about quests with unique loot. Therefore, in the end rewards, there's a chance to to get any +n tome, where n is the type of tome which would normally drop out of the chest (so +2 for VoN, +4 for ToD, +3 for Reaver etc.) However, note that 20th rewards for quests that have gone epic will still only contain rewards for that quest on regular difficulties; end rewards are irrelevant to difficulty of quest. Thus, although +4 tomes drop from epic VoN 6, your end reward might only contain +2s, since it generates the list based on regular difficulties.
Arkat is talking about the shroud; in the shroud, your end reward list might contain a mix of +2 tomes, and +3 tomes, and will always contain an essence of cleansing. Which tomes you get are random again, so you're not guaranteed any +3 tomes, nor any +2 tome, however, there will be one tome per stat (whether its +2 or +3 is random).

Is there a command that tells you how many completions you have?

Thanks! That seems almost blindingly obvious :)
