Problem with Hide UI

When I try to hide me UI to make a video, it enables mouse-look mode. Is there some way to disable that? Or if that isn't possible, is there any way to do an emote after you've hidden text?

mouselook only goes on if you press the button for it (default T) or keep your left/right mousebutton pressed (whatever it is in your settings)

you can however move the camera around with your numpad
