The funniest thing happened in a hound griefing yesterday

For the sarcastically challenged, this is not a 'funny ha ha ' story, but an ironic rant 'funny ugh' story about getting griefed in a raid.



So, I joined a pug on thelanis. Mostly newer players or people who had only done it 3 or 4 times.

A few vets.

We finally got to the hound.


The vet who took over leadership explained very carefully what would happen..both outside and again once inside. He told each person what they were to do and how it would go down.

I also helped type in instructions to remember as we went along the explanations. The most important things I kept typing was 'DO NOT KILL THE DOGS/HOUNDS" for any reason.
I typed it many times just to make sure.

Some even joked 'I think we are not supposed to kill the hounds'


So we got ready to run around...and I once again typed 'DO NOT KILL DOGS FOR ANY REASON" and the leader also went over not killing dogs.


We round the first corner and there is the lone dog that always gets out. All run by and I grab intim aggro to take him to the center and say it out loud.

The monk running by goes all bruce lee on the dog and will not stop. Now I tried typing and yelling, but the monk kept doing the karate kid. Now what was funny was he took forever to kill him. That was one poor monk.

The sad part is he killed it. Never stopped. We all just left as he was an obvious griefer.

How sad and lame. He needs to reroll if he wants to grief raids better.

heh, can a monk even afford to grief raids? I think they need to get all the raid gear before griefing well.

Being a monk you should be able to meditate on this and reflect on how it is important to listen to people when you have no idea what your doing.

No, I'm not that monk. If I *were* that monk I'd make fun of you for enraging you to the point that you made a post about it and then pat myself on the back for a job well-done.

If you're going to post a story like that make sure it's at least moderately interesting/funny.

And just for the record, I play a sorc and know a *much* better way to grief a hound raid, not that I advocate doing it.
