I want fire games / Lightning games

How would those themes go? Jump through ring of fire? Go swimming in Tempest spine lava pits for coins? Maybe the lightning games could center around those big lightning bolts in the Seven. Just a thought.

As long as some people don't start flipping out over what each event is, I don't care...development, keep em coming, at least it gives a feel to the city and world actually being alive versus being static dribble you venture through to get from one place to the next.

Of course they'll probably be met with the usual "ZOMGZ this is like this holiday!" to you people I say please shut up and look at how much more alive the city looks rather than just that static slab of rock and mud you're normally running through.

How about something that requires listen skill, and repair skill, and social skills :p

I am all for new types of games/ festivals, as long as they aren't twitch oriented at all. Finding the coins, shards or whatever in chests is cool, as is looting them off of appropriate mobs. I even like the idea of "gathering" them off of altars, bookshelves, rubble, mushrooms, etc.

Having multiple ways to earn the coins/ shards/ whatsis is fine for me. I didn't mean to exclude the people who want FPS/ Mario game play style. I personally don't like the running/ jumping stuff, and I am really bad at it. I just don't want to be excluded either if I want to gather, kill or loot the items, instead of being forced to play in a running/ jumping style like with the Risia games. Coupled with the whole Twig fiasco, for me the Risia event blew chunks. Glad others enjoyed them and got to add Frost to all their weapons.

I thought the name of the event was Risia Ice GAMES, not Risia Ice FREE GIFTS.

Ok, there were people that couldn't appreciate the events due to lack of time, jumping skills or patience, but to suggest that it should have been like the Festivult essencially means the same as grinding hours for a Bloodstone in desert chests, or joining a Shroud to farm Large Scales, or play in Epic to get the Scrolls and whatever.

In other words: It would have added nothing new to the game.

While the icy burst effect is nice for pumpin up some lowb weapons...race required keen of pg for example, Id prefer not to have the games in DDO, primarily because of all the xtra garbage you have to sort thru while surfin the AH. I liked looking at 20 pages of ing vice 48 or so.

Many people did just that.

White coins in Taming the Flames. People pulled blues out of Searing Heights. Velah gave one lucky person a Purple.

You could have jumped from the boathouse with zero Mario. I know, I did just that during weekend two because I have zero Mario skills, and no monk or favored soul.

OT: I am just 41 favor from unlocking favored soul. Threnal or Necropolis Series III or whatever they are called, here I come.
