Hello,

Im new to DDO online and i have some questions.
I am level 2 rank 8 now, and it took me a while. And i still have the same staff and robes.
Do you always keep the same robes? (im a sorcer btw) Or are there many diferent robes, if yes, were do i find
these and what level most i be to wear beter and nicer looking robe then the one i have now.
Same question about staffs:)

And i have 3 attack spells atm, but they a bit simple. When do i get beter skills?
Becaus if i go to the trainer i only see buffs or other strange stuff, no attack spells at all.

Hope you guys understand my english:P

Thanks,

Firewalll

At the low levels, you're likely to run with the same gear for a few levels. As you get higher you'll start to find some better stuff. As a caster though, try using two scepters, if you can find ones you like. There are few staffs for casters.

And also, there aren't many attack spells at low levels. Take some buffs or crowd control; it'll still help a lot. Once you get to level 8 and get Wall of Fire things will start to heat up for you.

you will get new staves and robes during your casting career, some robes to be on the lookout for are: Invulnerability minimum level 4, Deathblock minimum level 6, fearsome minimum level 6, moderate fortification minimum level 6, heavy fortification minimum level 8. You will want to focus on either fire/cold spells or electricity/acid spells, force/repair if you're warforged, get the highest level potency scepter and the highest level "energy" lore for your attack spells.

Items can be found in random loot, vendors, or the auction house.

at level 3 as a sorc, having only one attack spell and two buffs is average, niacs cold ray is high damage if the enemy saves while burning hands is your aoe, magic missle is useful if those two don't affect anything, you will want to pick up eventually nightshield, jump, haste, web, resist energy and other non-damage spells for crowd control or buffing.
