Epic Timers???

So...

Epic von 6.

When I complete it, I get a message when I type /quest that it can not be repeated for 2days 18 hours...epic von 6 can not be repeated for 18 hours.

Yet after the epic timer has gone away I can still not re-enter Von 5 or re-acquire the quest for 2 more days because the regular timer has not worn off.

Am I missing something here???

you cant enter the normal von5 either when on timer for von6, why should be in the epic version?

Just cause it says you can re-enter epic von6 in 18 hours...

Seems like the timer to re acquire the quest 5 is tied to the normal raid timer UNLESS you run von 5 it on epic as well... which doesnt make sense with the descritpions...since von 5 has no timer.

Von 5 is still apart of the raid. Though it is not specifically designated as the raid, it is a preliminary and required to be completed before the actual raid, therefore it has the same timer since it MUST be done before the raid can be started. Same idea as DQ raid...

Well ya.. so why is von 5 on a 2 day 28 hour timer...even if von 6 i run on epic...everone kinda missin my point...

cause you completed the raid ergo you go on the normal timer
if epic or not has nothing to do with it, its the normal raidtimer which you always get after finishing a raid

But right after you complete it if you do /quest it says roughly

The vault of night can be run again in 2 days 18 hours
Epic vault of night can be run again in 18 hours

All listed in order

I didn't believe it either till someone told me to check it out.

Its there.. just makes no sense.

I understand the wait... what I don't get is the listing of the additional timer and why it has no bearing whatsoever.

it makes sense

you complete an epic quest: you go on 16h timer for that quest
you complete a raid: you go on 66h timer for that raid
you complete an epic raid: you go on both timers

the epic timer for raids is useless but it was easier to keep it in instead of making a complex code to get it out

THat was all I was bringing up. It should allow re-entry after 18 hours or go away :D
