Ive noticed there is not much social posting in the Orien server so I thought I would start a thread...

First, wanted to give a Shout out too anyone who may know me from the server! I have always been lucky meeting cool people and have only had the very rare bad pug (and 2 particular players I like to kill daily in the tavern). Wanted to say, that Orien is a good server to start on!

Special shout outs to the guild members (in no order) of: Second Coming, Red Alert, United Dungeon Runners, Knights of the Dinner Table, that Brazilian guild, and the Europeans I play with at 3am. When ever I see you guys in a pug I smile. Also, Epic Fail/Epic most of you guys are cool, big guild, Soul is a cool respectable guy.

So..some ?'s for you if you wanna post :)

1. Ever seen me in game? If so say hi, if you remember where we met, or how let me know? ~I bet I remember you.
2. What are your goals right now on your main character? ~Right now I am doing 2 things a)farming for ear-dweller and b)getting ready to hit my first L20
3. Do you plan on reincarnating on this server? ~I am when I have the gear I want for my first TR!
4. How long have you been playing? ~I am on my second full month, loving this game!
5. Do you have a favorite role? ~Casters have always been mine and I love my wizard!
6. How many charterers do you activity play? ~I play my 1 main 95% of the time. I have a RL friend that comes over and I play my vetted pally with him exclusively maybe a few times a month so far.
7. What game did you come from before DDO? ~I came to ddo after 4 years of Guild Wars, The PVE is so much more fun in DDO.

So here is some stuff to talk about maybe! I get bored at work craving DDO and this forum helps me get my fix, just there is not much Orien related topics to read about. So post (or make fun of my post) away!

I'm bored at work so I'll go!

1) Might've hard to remember every one.
2) Completing all of the raids on the server on all difficulties available.
3) Probably not again. I TR'd Cruven to go from a 28 point build for the extra hp and will saves.
4) Started playing again the week after Orien started up. Played for about 4 months at release and quit due to lack of content.
5) Melee DPS in every game since EQ1 Pre-Kunark
6) 3, bring up a fourth.
7) Came directly from WoW Khadgar/Alliance. Also played Khadgar/horde, Garona/Alliance and Doomhammer/Alliance. Have also played EQ1, EQ2, DAoC, SW:G and Age of Conan for a month.

Like, me if you are reading this, you most likely are an addict as well.

Remember, the first step is admitting we have a problem.

Now, I'll outline a few ways Shadowsaun and the rest of us can overcome this addiction.

Step 1.

Sexual Intercourse

Find a member of the opposite sex you are attracted to and mate with them. I takes the mind off getting the next piece of gear and of course sharing your Tower of Despair is more fun when they call your name out in bed.

Of course, lately, I've been having her call me Soul, and though it is a bit erotic, I am not nearly short enough to pull off being a dwarf in RL.

Which leads me to...

Step 2.

Suicide.

Of course this option is only for the DEAD serious about quitting. And I'm not quite that dedicated.

Which leads me to...

Step 3.

World of Warcraft

Unfortunately, this is only a temporary fix because inevitably, you'll be back.

Which leads me to...

Step 4.

Asking God for help.

I have and I expect to not be playing within a month or two. Thanks Jesus!

lol your funny omni. farming this freaking ear slug might as well be suicide! And Tulnavara I like your raids goal. I love em, but I feel like I need some better gear before I dedicate myself to raid groups. I am comfortable with the Dragon Touched armor now..Ill be crafting greensteal before I start raiding full time I think.

2. What are your goals right now on your main character? TR'ing making him a light monk, fixing the mistakes I made with his original build and hitting 80 ac

4. How long have you been playing? um don't exactly remember when it was I made my first character.
5. Do you have a favorite role? Out dps'ing other fighter classes with my monk
6. How many charaters do you activity play? 2, Veriden(lvl 20 mnk) and Airethas (lvl 9 fvs)
7. What game did you come from before DDO? Nothing worth mentioning, mostly on the 360.

Anyways, I've been bored and figured this would be fun to answer while the room mate burned dinner....teaches me for letting her cook.

Well, I gave up on the Eardweller for now, and I also TRed. So Im level 5 now..who wants to go level with me?

Hey, good idea for a thread I like it!

1) Nope, making first character right now, looking for a new server (and guild here as well).

2) My main character will be a light monk (32pt), yes I bought it. I'm lazy, what can I say. I want to be a raid-efficient monk, I think I can pull it off on my first go around.

3) If I like the people on the server and I stay here, sure I guess it shouldn't be ruled out.

4) Hm... Since Mod3 I'd say. On and off of course (just like everyone). I have never really gotten too far into raid content so I'm concentrating on getting up there on this go-around.

5) My favorite role is that of a supportive character that can do damage / move fast. Monk surely fits the bill!

6) I have three characters (including this new one) that I play actively. Two on Thelanis (the same build monk / WF melee FvS) and my one monk that I'm looking to start here will be my main for a while if the server works out!

7) ********, DDO is my only MMO.

1. I don't think we've ever quested together, might have seen you in the lobster though!
2. Grinding out the raids for my end game gear, not too much left to get.
3. I am going to reincarnate at some point, not sure when yet.
4. Started actively playing in February I think. Had a couple of chars I played on and off before then.
5. I only have one character past level 8 so I suppose I have to say being a speedy little monk
6. I have a level 20 monk (Aelie), and occasionally do a quest or two on a FvS I'm slowly getting up.
7. I used to play counterstrike source a lot, competing in ED (british league). Went to uni, stopped playing and now I'm nowhere near as good as I was so have moved on to a calmer game (DDO) ;p

We spoke last night, and he is taking a break; I don't know if I should be saying that here, but he is from what I understand. He was in the tavern a few hours last night with me and a few other regulars there. Don't know when well see him again.

I knew he was taking a break, that was why he transfered leadership of Epic Fail over to Spanken and Tossing. I just figured the Wayword Lobster guild was just a joke guild he made right after he left EF.

Fairly new to Orion, came from Thelanis. I am the leader (Phildwfpally) and the officer (philsfvs of vulkoor) adn we have a few members. We all use mics, are team players, and like to play casual and have a good time. I have played since april of 2007, I have played all the turbine games, Star Trek Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Eve. All my toons start with Phils____. I'm VIP and have all the perks of being a veteran :D

He genuinely likes PvP and so do I. This is how we became friends. I was actually pretty honored that I was the only member of that guild (I believe I am a legend now?) Hahaha. But ya, it was a joke for him. But for me, its now a real guild that is taken seriously.

The guild is filling fast and this weekend was spent running many many quests as a full guild. We are leveling together. Its gonna be funny when all my little wayward lobsters own the tavern...oh the plans I have! Muahaha!
