I'm curious on this matter because of the picture of Broccoli saying "I'm Bringin' Broccoli Back". I originally thought that Broccoli was a guy, but that would mean he cross dresses. On the other hand if Broccoli is a girl that would mean she has been wondering around topless before this advertisement. Finally we also have the Broccoli doesn't have a gender argument, which would mean that it can do whatever it wants and mess with our heads which I thought was the Cube's job. Any light on this topic would be most helpful.

You're missing the other option, that Broccoli is a race and not an individual in which case there may be both male AND female Broccoli.

Ah, you must have forgotten your raid loot of Goggles of Gender Identification. IMHO, Brocolli is a plant, and a plant slaying weapon would be good against it. However, certain plants, fish and crutaceans may be hermaphrodites, they can be both male and female.

Hermaphroditism is normal for many species. The Hermaphroditic plants have both pistils (female sex organs) and stamens (male sex organs) in a single flower.

Hermaphroditic Species:

* Certain species of Segmented Worms
* Mollusks - an animal with no backbone and a soft body protected by a shell. Example is a snail and other shellfish.
* Crustaceans - is an aquatic animal with a shell. Examples are; Crabs, Shrimp, Lobster.

I think the confusing part is the g-string and the arms/hands that almost look like it's wearing a bra. However, it has wings, and some strange things poking out of the florets which I assume to be horns.

G-string, wings, and horns make me think Succubus, but it's broccoli, so it must be Broccubus. Therefore, female.

Call me crazy but I think the arms/hands you speak of are, in fact, broccoli breasts, or coverings for said broc boobs. See how they bulge a bit and have a highlight on them.

If I am the only one who notices this I promise I will immediately call my therapist.

Well, the Italian word "Broccoli" is plural, so Broccoli is a "they". Problem solved.

This is a Brocubus, so I think its female, and they are for sure boobs, with some kind of succu-bra...

So gathering from the posts, Broccoli is an it or there are two different Broccolis (the husband in the ddo advertisements and his wife in the forum banner). Broccoli is the guy who gets burned by dragons and gets shot by beholders, while his wife is a Brocubus, who pops up in a banner add as she waits for her burning/fried husband to return home. They also appear to have ties to the Joker and the Ghostbusters. Am I missing anything?

I actually didn't think much about it, thinking they were hands, until I found a thread curious about the gender of Brocco up there.

Now I can't stop thinking about it.
