I used to date a redhead who gave me horrible GF game agro and my guild and I called Velah the red-headed sorceress. She was hot, but a handfull.

I'm red-headed also, so together when we got our Irish up it was very ugly. In Joyce's Ulysses there is a wonderful line by the character Buck Mulligan, "Red-headed women buck like goats." It's true.

Perhaps we can get the developers to allow a new item slot - leggings/gaiters. Stinky britches +3 ftw.

people who knew me on-game before I took by year and a half break to hike the wilderness wonder whether I left to get away from the cyber-world, or the redhead that had been tearing up my days and nights for three years (the nights I appreciated - the days, notsomuch). Anyway the mountains were the only place I could hide.

It was one year ago today, 2/20/10, that Britches & Hose was founded by our guild leader, Atenhotep.

We are the people who literally invented the Raid Train. The original officers and membership for the guild evolved out of the dedicated players from those runs. We are highly selective in our recruiting policies and we hope this reflects well of us in game.

The average age among our membership is mid-30sh. We’re fond of redheads, Patrick Swayze movies, mom jokes and completions.
We are a raiding guild that typically runs the game’s high end content, challenging raids and epic quests. Despite a relatively modest guild size, we have consistently been ranked near the top of the Argo Guild Leaderboards.

For me, my loyalty is not for sale; therefore, joining a guild is pretty much a life-long decision. I was in a guild that I made and it had one member... me. And had assumed after playing with the majority of guilds/players I would probably never join one.
Then I met this dude named Dychotomus...
I joined this guild because in one week one guy taught me more about this game then I had learned in the previous year running with so-called "elite" guilds. After a week of questing with him and trying to find out if this dude was the real thing, I dropped my personal guild moniker and have never looked back.
I owe you so much my friend, thank you for taking a new player with rough edges and polishing him into something, I'm not exactly sure what that something is, but I'm better off than I was.

Here is to a guild full of X-Cellent members and to another player's vision of what a guild should be.

We have a leadership change at FALW

Atenhotep has left the game, due to health-related and personal concerns. He has given away his equiptment and will not be returning.

As his successor and at his request, I, Wabbles, have assumed the leadership of the guild. Artesheen is the new second. We have no major changes to guild definition, policy or mission.

If you are interested in membership in FALW, we are selectively recruiting. Please contact Wabbles, WabblesII, Wabblemon, Begforheals or a guild officer if you are interested. We require as a minimum that you have two capped characters, that one is a healer, and that you've shown proficiency in the game with a former midlevel or high level guild. There is a trial period after application and some officer vetting.
