With the announcement of underwater combat, I am going to proactively TR all of my characters to max out their SWIM skill and get rid of more useless things like UMD and concentration and such.

Here's my plan for my level 20 sorc: swap charisma for strength to max swim ability; take 12 ranger levels to get the swim class skill and SwimIV enhancement. If I press hard I might be able to get this guy back to 20 before the swim quests drop. I'll be uber. With some crafting and re-gearing, I'll be the only sorc in town with a sustainable swim skill in the 80s. Look out DDO community! I'm going to be swimming laps around you while you sit there--jaws dropped in shock and envy.

It does! I'll be able to cast it as BOTH a sorc and a ranger--+10 swim for me!

Michael Phelps called me just a few minutes ago after seeing this post. He is quitting swimming. That's how good this build is.

It's +10+1/2level, so it's +20 at level 20.
My bard carries it. So at least I'm set on her with any groups :D

I know. I worried about this a little bit before posting. Here was the logic that led me to posting anyway:

CONS

a) it may be considered bragging
b) others may try to copy this making my very important thinking and accomplishments less relevant

PROS

a) something this important cannot be kept a secret
b) I am very very special; and people probably need to get used to this and be exposed to it bit by bit so it doesn't overwhelm them all at once
c) people need to start mentally adjusting now to the upcoming fact that I will be superior to them. Historically, I've been a decent player--but not the best by any measure. But now I will be the best by far. So those with super twitch skills, wisdom, good leadership skills, etc., etc. will need to prepare to step aside. A new master is in the house.

It Will be cool if swimming skill makes you fight better underwater, kinda like aquaman, but on the reverse,

like, "you are underwater, you fight and cast a -50% speed, every skill bonus increases this to the max of -10%"

On a more serious note, I guess I need to stop using a helm swap for underwater action.
