Australian (or equiv time zone) guild

Being way ahead of the world :) (time zone) it is not easy to hook up with fellow players on a regular basis. I am interested in hooking up with fellow ADULT players from the southern hemisphere that are fairly laid back, love fun banter, and totally respectful of others (just described typical Australians ^_^ ).

If there is a guild of like minded players (don't have to be Aussie) from similar time zone then I would be interested in joining up.

In game characters are as follows:
Varvananos (Barbarian Dwarf)
Mayikomihani (Wizard Warforge)
Kopela (Sorceress Human)

Have you had any luck finding a guild that suites our time zone? I am from NSW and am looking for the same.

At this stage I only have the one char (Djunno - Dwarf Cleric).

My wife also plays and we would like a guild that will suit our playing styles and give us some broader contacts, and obviously we need a guild that has players in our time-zone.

Alas I have had no luck. I just PUG with players as necessary and have started to add to friends list those players that played decently (quite a few have been simply fantastic) with the view of hooking up again at a later time.

I'm still relatively new to DDO and I am still learning things. I would consider creating a guild some day when I am more seasoned and are still enjoying it. That and having heaps more time on my hands :) .

BTW - I've joined a couple of guilds and unfortunately they have been disappointing. I guess I expected guilds to act more like teams especially where it comes to policies in helping fellow team members out re gear as well as grouping up (which they don't do) whether they are new or old to the group. Now there's a Hint!

Then again I'm use to running teams in other online games (don't have the time anymore) and have been spoilt in having really good ppl (I did go through the usual quality control/policy implementation). But like anything there will be trial and error until eventually the right one is found that fits.
