Hello!

Im new to the game, and was looking for some advice. I like playing support chars, so I am in the process of making a heal bot - but I my friend is in between characters right now and is unsure of what character to play.

I wanted to see what character was able to fulfill the following:

- Viable End Game (not a gimp that no1 will group with)
- Decent Tank
- Decent DPS
- Beginner Friendly

I saw the 28pt build for the "AxeSinger" that was posted earlier, and was intrigued, but I thought it might be a bit tough for him to manage.

Any suggestions/links?

Thank you for your help!

pure dps barbarian, they often need their own pocket healers anyway.

I concur... Dwarf Barbarian (because Dwarves are the best :P )

Simple to play, strong damage and survivability but still needs healing. Heck, once he gets Frenzied berserker you'll finally have some healing to do as he'll be hurting himself as he swings.

Pure barbarians do great DPS and hold aggro just fine, but they are not good tanks, at least not in the high-AC able-to-avoid-being-hit sense; in fact they're basically healing sponges, so your healbot will certainly get a workout that way. For a traditional DPS tank I think fighter is the better class.

Barbarian all the way quick kills means less agro for you with just the two of you you should never run out of mana.
I solo a lot with a hierling cleric and clean house with scaling. Just remember if you blow through content scaled for 2 that dosent mean you can even make it to some quests with a full group. Ok I exagerated some but for someone trying a new class you can really be suprized when a mob dosent die like it has been when you were shortmanning the last 4 levels on normal.
