Do Turbine Points ever go on sale?

Simple question. Has anyone ever seen the actual TP packages go on sale? I know the larger pack you buy you get bonus points but do they ever get reduced in price? Thanks.

They used to keep putting a $50 package up as their "sale" package, but that's a standard option now. What they are doing instead is putting the individual store items on sale (and they seem to be putting not just garbage but the good stuff on sale on a regular basis). So, if you want a deal, buy $50 worth of points and hold off for sales to buy the stuff you want.

Yes i actually bought the 5000 point package at a decent price. look in the store itself it wil show you.

They havent been on sale recently. When I signed up this December, they had more bonus TP for each package as a kind of sale. Then later that month or beginning January, the actual price of the packages were reduced for a while. I cant remember a sale since they announced the $50.00 package was permanent.

Boy, am I glad I waited. They didn't go on sale but the extra 1900 points in the $50 package was too enticing to pass up. I made my first purchase and will be buying a large pack of points for my son tonight. Get em now players! Who knows how long we will have to wait for this deal to come along again. Only up to March 28!!

My wife and I will both be doing this. I would love to know how many packages they sell during this sale, I hear lots of people talking about buying it. I figure this will get us through the year. Going to buy Paths of Inspiration, Necro 4, Vale of Twilight, Demon Sands, Devils of Shat and Reavers reach and have plenty banked for some new stuff that will surely come out. Already have Delaras, TR, Sorrowdusk, and Vault. Never mind all the points that favor will net us. Very cool Turbine!!!

I'm VIP so i don't need to buy the adventure packs. I wanted points mostly to buy +2 tomes for 'twinking', will wait to see how to spend the rest of the points. But the 'point' is; I feel I like I just got the best deal in town and it probably won't happen again for another 6-12 months.

Ah the irony of this thread being posted 12 hours before the best sale ever on TPs started.

I bought 6900 (pushing me to 8000 in the account) and cancelled VIP.
