I have a fighter 1 ranger 15 that is as follows. 28 point build Str 17 (base) Dex 16 Con 17 Wis 10 all others 8. Bow strength, diehard, Dodge, evasion, kopesh, repeating heavy crossbow, greater two weapon fighting, heavy armor proficiency, heroic, durability, improved critical slashing, improved precise shot, light armor proficiency medium armor proficiency, mobility, precise shot, rapid shot, toughness, two weapon fighting. He iis my first toon and I think I have ruined it but would like any help I can get. Try not to be too harsh. Thanks.

off the top of my head you'd need to swap feats and get, mental toughness and weapon focus: ranged. then you would need to respec your enhancements to take the arcane archer pre. so though it's doable it's not cheap. all so most people say you need the capstone to make archers worth it so you might get some suggestions to lesser reincarnate too (which if you have 32pt builds might not be a bad idea).

i think i'd swap out crossbows and heroic (though i can't recall what that does =p) that way you've can fall back to khopeshs when you will have to melee....

... you will still have to melee.

i'm on my first AA ranger now and just hit lvl 10. the bows great and many shot is awesome but to stay effective i need to switch to melee often.

good way to annoy other players: kill everything before they have a chance to run up to it.

bad way to annoy other players: grab agro and kite (run backwards) something that you can only hit for 3dmg every couple of seconds.

I would go the GR route, swap out 1 level of fighter for pure ranger since the capstone is too good to pass on for AA builds. Just make sure you take the feats needed for AA (they are listed in the description) and you should be good to go. Other than the required feats, make sure you get imp crit ranged. You should be able to get 1 toghness feat and still have 1 feat left for weapon finesse or whatever you want.

One more vote on reincarnating - +1 greater if you have 32pts build now, +1 lesser if you don't. On top of being a better way to salvage your char, it might even be cheaper, and certainly easier.
