Prot. from Evil stacking (and related spells)

Just wondering whether the spells Protection from Evil, Magic Circle Against Evil, and Holy Aura all still provide bonuses that stack (despite the spell description) with existing deflection and resistance bonuses. People used to say they provided "sacred" bonuses since they stacked with other bonuses but not each other. They are never included in AC/Saves calculations; is this out of ignorance or because it was changed?

If so, are they WAI or not? And also if so, does the trinket Silver Flame Trinket, or something like that, that provides "the benefit of the protection from evil spell" do the same thing?

To add to that, when you look at the Chaosguarde bracers, it reads the same way as protection from evil does (I think... gonna have to log and recheck). Something like "Provides a +2 deflection bonus to AC and +2 resistance bonus to AC against chaos", or whatever. Does it behave the same way? And does it stack with PfE (maybe by providing an anarchic bonus)?

Man, a lot of questions.

1. Is it WAI?
2. Does the Silver Flame Trinket provide the same benefit?
3. Does Chaosguarde work the same way?

They did not stack for AC, only saves. They still are stacking now.

The word "sacred" probably should not be used, because DDO includes actual sacred bonuses. I did not test if the sacred bonus from Defender of Sybersis stacks with these spells, though. The term I made up is "alignment bonus".

Well, there are no shortages of useless spells, after all... And one would ask why the AC bonuses don't stack but the saves bonuses do (inconsistency?), and why the spell description wasn't informed of all this, if it really was WAI. But those are questions for the developers.

PfE is a L1 spell and it wouldn't be surprising if it didn't stack with some higher level gear.

I personally think PfE is not WAI. Not sure about Holy Aura, that also still says "Wards allies" although it's a self-only spell (and I know for sure I bug reported on day 1...)
