Hello people. I've been playing DDO for a few months now and have yet employ a hireling. I finally employed one today, the 4th level drow elf cleric, from the store. If I use him, will I get the full exp from the quest?

as long he doesnt die
xp isnt divided among party members, everyone gets his own xp
only boni are for the full party, eg if someone dies all loose the dont-die bonus

You would Earn XP as if the hireling was a real player in your group. Like was said, you would loose some if they died.
You can press "x" while in the quest to see a breakdown of the XP for that quest.

If you don't want to lose the "don't die xp" the others noted I'd make sure you use your new hired buddy carefully. I've used a bunch and it has been my experience that mobs really have an issue with Cleric hirelings. Not sure if there's some past history of name calling or saying nasty things about Bugbear's moms or what :) but, when I use a Cleric I make sure I keep them away from the action until I need them.
Early on I'd have them following and 99%+ of the time a mob would rush past me to lay a beating on the healer and it wasn't an easy thing to get them off all the time either. Park them around a corner, back in a room you've cleared, the last shrine room you used, whatever, go explore and when it's safe or you really are in a pinch and need the healing love send out the call. Think you'll find they last longer :)
Enjoy.
