Seaching for logon server...

Trying to logon to Thelanis. Getting stuck at Seaching for logon server... (attempt 1 of 20). Sits there announcing 0.00kb/s and no progress on the blue bar. After a couple of minutes game closes producing a "connection to the server has been lost" error window. My internet connection works perfectly otherwise. Any ideas?

PD: Is it worth paying 15 bucks a month for a game that works half the time?

First make sure that Internet Explorer is still able to connect to the web, IE doesn't have to be the default browser just installed, not in 'work offline' or generally otherwise disabled.

Aside from that make sure also that your firewall is letting turbinelauncher.exe, turbineinvoker.exe dndlauncher.exe and dndclient.exe full inbound as well as outbound access to the internet.

Here I am with the same recurring problem once again. My internet connection works perfectly with every other application on my computer, including IE. Once and again I get this searching for logon server issue on times when server traffic is very high. Like a friday night. Again I can't play the game I am paying for and this annoyes me very much.

PS: Nice, now http://support.turbine.com/ is not working.

Ported back from DQ1, never got out of the loading screen. Restarted the client, and guess what...I can't get past the Searching for logon server screen. Now this never happens at 2am in the morning.

Ethalas, do you still have this problem?
If it has been fixed, what did you do to fix it?

Do you have this problem after getting stuck within the game and being disconnected?
Because for me I'm having the same problems after getting stuck in the loading screen after zoning into the Zawabi Refuge area. ingame voice chat is still working while I'm stuck in the loading screen. After 30 seconds or so the error popup comes up and the game closes.

If I then try to log back on again, I'm getting the 20 failed attempts. I think the game is still thinking I'm online and wont let me log on.

Is it the same for you?
