I'm curious as to what (the?) brocolli and/or ham has to do with DDO. Is this some inside joke I'm missing? Tried to search the forums, ddowiki, even the compendium for brocolli to no avail. Where is the brocolli??

The ham is from a long time ago forum poster, but the broccoli was more of a stab at the stupid types of enemies you'll find all over other MMOs. It's like they looked at Pokémon and said "Hey that's an awesome design!" and then they practically copy all of it (.02% difference) and then it's their monster. It's more or less saying that our monsters here actually look like monsters...and then it turned into a meme and then they've just gone with it.

Broccoli is nutritious.

Ham is delicious (although not quite as good as bacon).

Unless you're canadian, in which case bacon is just a fancy pants word for ham :D
