Tired of endless grinding the shroud/hound/reaver? Come and get some hardcore! With Update 4 you'll be able to start a "veteran status" build (level 4) in The Core and start the precipitous climb up Mt. Glory. Just this past week a member of The Core was denied entrance into Thrall of the Necromancer (Delera's part 4) because he was only level 4. Hmmph!
So we told Hargo Kimmare he wasn't worthy enough to lick the goblin gore from our hardcore boot tops. And we vowed to return.
Then Chadeaux and Mosashae spent the week "getting him to level 5" so he could finish Deleras. We in The Core run at the highest available difficulty, and we don't shrine or use House P buffs, nor do we heirloom items, so nevermind the gall of bringing a level 5 into a level 9 quest. He hasn't even taken toughness!
A week later and Chadeaux is almost level 9: questing hardcore at-near level, sometimes under level (like in TR elite), and mostly duo'ing. The exception being Deleras part 4 and Western Threnal on hard in a group of level 7-10's. The duo highlights included: Sharn elite, greymoon on hard, and Splinterskull elite. Chadeaux, take a bow. He joined the guild about two weeks ago, is relatively new to the game, and already he's breaking new ground :)
