Formal Apology for causing a wipe on VoN 6

Just wanted to make a formal apology for not realizing the change of VoN 6 that the dragon fight starts on entering the door line as opposed to stepping on the ground, and causing a wipe because of it. I take responsibility for it.

I admit I misunderstood/glanced past since I've done VoN several times, and the last time I did it (after patch) it apparently wasn't an issue because it was fast-moving.

Don't worry about it. I've seen it happen with the 3 other runs I've been in in there. Got lucky in 2 runs, one still had to rerun VoN5.

There was a quick mention of it, but I think it was worded wrongly. The message said along the lines of don't go past the Forcefield into the dirt. Obviously the field comes down and left with the door archway instead. So that likely didn't help.

Anyway, it simply can't be helped some times. Also, I remember you was experiencing lag. Which meant you might not even know you were over the line to be honest.

Good Luck with your current run, and scream and shout at anyone getting too close to the door now! :p

Seriously...most people woud make excuses and would never put it up on the forums. Good on you. I had a guildie who shot the dragon (he had autoattack on). He still hears about it.

Only ran it once so far, and I can tell it won't start the fight if you step right on the line (I did it this way because I heard about people screwing up, so I didn't want to go too far, but I also didn't want to be locked out, and in my experience with DDO when you stand right in a barrier, you can go through ;)).
I doubt it actually starts if you go just past the line but I haven't checked that out (yet...)
