Or wait 1 month till the mail is returned if that character didn't open the mail.

Your best hope is that the character is inactive and the owner doesn't check their mail.
Good luck with it.

Good luck with it.Or, if they do, that they send you a nice thank you note back.

Well, look at it this way, whether or not it was intended, you now have a new friend for life...just don't strangle them when you are in the same quest with them.

I had mailed off a bunch of things to a mule which I misspelled by one letter. One more Z than I needed. I just sent them a message saying since I was a Dumb A** for not knowing my mules name, to just please send back what he didnt want and he could keep the rest.
I got lucky. He/she must have never logged in because I got it all back. Lucky me. hehe

That shared bank space ain't looking quite as expensive today as it did yesterday, right? ;)
Wishing ya luck on it being an inactive character - let us know in a couple/few weeks how it turns out.

I think most people who get an item that is not intended for them will send it back. Only greedy and desperate players keep stuff that doesnt belong to them.
I dont have a bloodstone and have been looking for one for 2 years and I would still send it back because I understand how important it is to the owner....... lets hope the guy who recieved it understands that also.

before the Shared bank and when the shroud was new (if you were lucky you had 2 toons to run it), I was in a raid group, and one guy was getting ready to craft. so he was switching toons getting everything together.. all of a sudden we started hearing all sorts of explanitives... and he started getting frantic... after a few more minutes of him rapidly switching toons, we find out he mailed his ingredients bag with all his larges (30 or more) to someone other than his own toon. he was so upset/po'd that he just logged... I never heard if he got it back or not
