This new escapist series: Doraleus and Associates (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/doraleous-and-associates/1409-Episode-One-Open-For-Business), reminds me a lot about Argonnessen. If you could place characters into roles, who would they be?

So far I've got the following pegged:

I didn't really picture Mhykke to be that incompetent or snobbish though...

Actually, I didn't picture Al to be that way either. I just figured his attitude was more like Doraleus.

'sides, Walken has an accent. That's why I couldn't put Al there. Else, yeah, the attitude works for that character.

Oh yeah, and I'm sorry Dunker. :o I honestly looked at the map where it says the "Lady of the Lake = Home of the Dumbest ***ch ever" AFTER I nominated you for the position.

Mhykke is the original pure paladin (before they were DPS machines)... it doesnt get anymore snobsh or incompetent really, plus he is the leader of the most "premier" shortman guild.

Walken doesnt have an accent, he just has so much attitude it changes the way he sounds...
have you read any of Bill's posts?

Back on Mabar Spisey was "Baalz" and one of the original hardcore melee soloist/duelists with is 2 Rogue, 4 Barb, 4 ranger, or whatever that abomination was:D

That would make sense as far as personality goes. But Drak also believes he's an awesome dorfen barbarian of kick-assness.

If you could combine the two, you'd have a perfect Drak.

Ya know what? Now that I recall New Year's Eve, you were quiet. And you were big. You're now in the Broof position.

There are now new positions for the Doraleus and Associates Thread! More on the way when I watch the episodes again (so I can get the names!) Believe they're on Episode 19 now.

PS: Bandy got the best role by far, and Neebs pretty much lost the coolest role ever.

PPS: Die Blah, Die. (foretold -- Ep 16 was not a shocker)

Doraleus successfully defeats The Brothers of the Old World at the village of Dongo in the latest episode of Doraleus and Associates (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/doraleous-and-associates/1821-Episode-23-Battle-in-Dongo), no thanks to Neebs. Also, Neebs clears it with Doraleus that Ladder Guy is Officially fired -- there is vacancy for someone new! Sorry, Neebs. You weren't that useful after all.

Doraleus: "Neebs, get down here RIGHT NOW!" :mad:
Neebs: "How am I supposed to do that? I don't have a damned ladder!" :)

Holy **** just watched all the episodes waaay to funny.

Couple of quick notes:

1. Neebs sounds like red from pineapple express. Good casting as bandy.
2. Mirdon is very seth roganish.
3. The troll is freaking awesome. If I wanted a cameo this would be it.

Favorite charatcers : Neebs and Broof. Hilarious.

I just stumbled on this thread searching for Kistilan. It seems like there's an inside joke in this thread, but I can't be sure. furrows her brow But I watched a few episodes and this is pretty funny. That Lady of the Lake with a twinkie -- heehee!

I found another thread by Kistilan that had some really good starter quest guidance but who is Lord Goodblade? I have never seen these quests he gives in the harbor for an elixir or scroll either. :confused: And why is it that Kistilan isn't updating it anymore?

Not really an inside joke, Kist just wanted to cast the roles of the characters as the more famous members of the Argo community that they most reminded him of.

I'm from Tennessee, and since you've heard Neebs speak.....;)

As for Goodblade; When the game was first released Korthos Island didn't exist. You started out on an island, where you could learn a few basic controls, and then set sail for Stomreach.

Three of the first quests in the game ( beginners quests for the most part ) were given by an NPC named " Lord " Goodblade.
