skin able hats ... what would you like to see?

I dont know about you but i love that DDO came out with a skinable hat ... the three cornerd hat is ugly as all hell but its much better then wearing a ugly intimi 15 hat or a everyones got one minos legions


since i am all about this new change i thought this would be a good place to ask the big question

what kind of hats would you like to see (and thus willing to pay for) in the DDO store as skinables (meaning you have your minos legions on underneath)

Turbine should add a new ritual where you could change the appearance of your helmet to one of another item.

One puts his helm (the attuned flag will tell that this is the item we want to put new graphic model onto) along with
another piece of headgear that we want to copy the model from, plus some fancy collectibles.

After activating the altar the item preserves all of its properties but gains the appearance of another helm which is consumed in the process of crafting. This way we can change the style of the item we wear.

If Turbine wants to make money off of this idea, they can sell unique helm design items
(not available on in-game loot) for players to put on their existing gear.

I would love the Grim helm look from Diablo II. I've never seen a cooler looking helm in a game to be honest.

Although the crown look did fit for some characters, the grim helm still looked the best.

Had a concentration cowl on my new halfling monk, but now that she's level 11, I had to put a minos on her...so bought the tri corner skin, but she just doesn't look as good without the cowl on :(

And looks are where it's at for this girl :) All my girls have a different look for the most part, would be nice to have headwear to match :)

I want the 'other' Tapestry helmet skins. Y'know, the ones nobody sane ever takes because Minos Legens is just that good.

Tradusor and Seraphim look amazing with the visors and sunburst crowns/spikes. My biggest gripe with Minos is it looks very silly revealing a vertical slit of your character's face, one of my characters has a little bit of mustache poking out and it looks absurd. Thankfully warforged look fine for the most part with it.

Muffled Veneer seems like it'd fulfill the request that some people have for a hooded mask (if it looks anything like the inventory icon does, in-game).

The Undying Gaze looks very menacing but has completely gimp stats so it's not much other than a wearing-in-town item. If it was a cosmetic option I think a lot of barbarians would be happy for its brutal looks.

Last but not least, the floaty rune of the Totemic Lavalier adds magical flair without covering the face of your character.

A larger brim on one of these would be good...it obviously MUST have "WIZZARD" written on it in spangles though. :D
