I'm happy - but I feel mislead...
Remember: The Risia Ice Games are available Thursdays through Sundays in February!Turbine needs to do some serious tightening on the accuracy of Event info.

Aye, but I can't be angry because I'm just too happy that I can now put icy burst on my newly found +2 holy warhamer of weighted 5%. :D

I need to figure out where I can buy a Turbine calendar. Because clearly the one I'm using is different from theirs.

I just find it a shame that once again we have no idea what the real story in about an Event - and Turbine makes itself look amateurish by bungling basic information.
I guess that Turbine and Playstation bought the same Vocabulary Builder desk calendar, the attention to the proper date is a curious happenstance...
The word for today is: Meticulous.
[muh-tik-yuh-luhs]
–adjective
1. taking or showing extreme care about minute details; precise; thorough: a meticulous craftsman; meticulous personal appearance.
2. finicky; fussy: meticulous adherence to technicalities.
"Without meticulous proofreading in public information, confusion will flourish."

There are servers for your kind. I hear codemasters runs them quite well ;)

I hate the jumps personally, but I'm VERY glad they brought this back for another weekend. I would have been happy with just the risia alter (kind of like how the jester stays after the coins stop dropping.) I have several recipes I wanted to use.

Good news indeed!
We have one guild member who just returned after a long absence and will now be able to get some upgrades. And the ski jump is different, fun to do something other than questing for a little bit :)

Well, the cocoa and skates have been on sale in the DDO store all week so this isn't much of a surprise.

Yes... yeeesss... /evil laugh.
Pleasant surprise, in my opinion. I had also assumed that they had ended based on the "February" in the announcements... which apparently is open to interpretation.
I was happy already with a couple weapons I picked up after I thought the games had ended... now I'll be happy to add more tasty treats to them.

ohh, low blow! :p
never did get the month/day/year thing, seems odd. i much prefer the year/month/day thing i've got used to in MySQL, at least it means dates are easy to sort :)
it's like the americans got half way there, but forgot about the changing year :)
any way, back on topic, taking bets the event will be pulled when turbine realise its turned its self on again :)

I'll take that bet. All of my recipes 6-12 are on the table.

So now I have to spend another weekend grinding for coins?

Another weekend = another 2 million plat in profit. I'm not complaining.

We'll see .. people might have spent their load last weekend and/or upgraded their highest priority weapons already.

So giving-away my leftover recipe 3's and motes last Sunday night was not a good idea...

Guess we can't really complain, but now I wish I hadn't been giving away motes and recipes on the "last day".

You never know if they will really ever take out this stuff out permanantly.
Remember, the Devil Assault quest was supposed to be a limited time only deal too and was never taken out, even for little bit.
