It only took a little over 6 months with help of guildies and random people.

I've been watching your posts about this. What was it? 1,000,000 shards it took to make that?

Simply amazing.

Congratulations, I am almost there - but not quite.

I play 15 - 25 hours a week (guess that is a 20 hour/week average ) and keep all the rocks I pick up. I ask others for theirs if I see them leaving them, but to be honest the past few months I have stopped doing that, as well as reminding Guildies to send me theirs.

My high level characters just pay the Turbine store when I need to respec a Feat, as even when I finally do make one it is just one...

Will you come work for me? For all that effort your hourly salary would have to be about .001c, where I could really use someone ready to work at those wages? :)

Believe it or not all i play right now is 2-3 hours, 4-5 days a week. :( Nothing compared to what i used to play.

Things are looking up for you. :p Your life has improved dramatically.

Had I known, I would have contributed. I've a lot of those things laying about as I help correct new player snafus in feats a lot.

I'm getting close, myself, but I've been farming (and using) them for far longer than six months, now. I hope to post my own Accomplishment here when I have one, after which all subsequent pulls of them will be thrown away.

1000 Siberys dragonshard fragments = 10 flawed Siberys Dragonshard

100 Flawed Siberys Dragonshard = 10 Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard

100 Imperfect Siberys Dragonshard = 10 Siberys Dragonshard

100 Siberys Dragonshard = 10 Exceptional Siberys Dragonshard

10 Exceptional = 1 Flawless Siberys Dragonshard

So 1 million Siberys Dragonshard Fragments for 1 Flawless.

Respec a feat on a lvl 17 - 20 Character.

As the only other option is to buy one off the Turbine Store, the Marketing people are leaning back in their chairs, hands clasped behind their head, and smiling - pointing to the chart of all the sales of these, versus the handfull of crafted ones!

Honestly, who buys these from the Turbine Store? If you're that high level and didn't plan your feats, you're probably going to TR anyway. :-P

The drop rate on the higher tier shards needs to be significantly increased.

I think a lot of new players will definitely purchase the first TR (instead of unlocking it via collection or random rare loot drop). Secondly, I think they'll wind up 17-20 and stalling and decide a third TR isn't really needed. Finally, I think they'll realize that they need to swop a feat or two out and pay for it.

I think Turbine's current plan and statistics back this thinking up too.

It's just a thought. So, they probably are counting on the masses of new players that haven't really mastered building at this point. They may also be waiting to introduce a slew of useful feats: thus capitalizing or making the players grind together flawless dragonshards. One is free and takes time: the other costs money. Both will ensure DDO has a long lifespan.
