View Full Version : Need advice for WF AA build

Hi!
I was reading arround and end up doing this 32 build of a Arcane Archer, any suggestions are welcome!

What i want to "try" to do is to be pure ranged dps with some survivability, self heal/buff, maybe kitting ?
The reason i took WF is that i got wizard friend that could heal me
so while he is not there, i would use the wand/scrolls that the wizard splash can provide to heal/buff, if that is enough ?
and for the rest, like items and divine wand/scrolls with a UMD maxed at 20, is the rogue splash good ?

for stats
i was thinking not maxing dex and get bit more str for dmg, wrong or not ?
i think 16 con is a good start ...hp are always welcome isn`t :)
at level 3 i get cheap tomes to get stats upgraded
and when having enough money, getting +2 tomes, so maybe before 20 ...and if lucky enough to get +3
i took repeating feat with the reload, just that if i find good weapon, just to remember that i have no end game stuff waiting in the stash here, maybe post suggestion of replace if i should stick with those feats or not at 20 ?
FE:undead, giant, construct, evil outsider

now is part are skills and enhancements
hide/ms to sneak arround in dungeon spot to see the enemy, should i care about it or get search at all since i cannot DD traps, maybe just skip those trap that i know ?
boosted enhancement for FE, is that good idea ?

i took all imbued arrows and conjured ones since i have no clue what is the best, help me here please :)
so that extra AP would be spent somewhere else

Go pure ranger, your dps will be much higher

The rogue level isn't worth it, makes more sense for your Wizard friend to splash 2 rogue for traps and evasion, they will be pumping Int anyways

You don't need the wizard level to self heal - you have ranger healing spells that should be good enough
Just take the first WF + heal enhancement and your good to go

Take a look at this Elf AA and just adjust it to WF
