Looking for a THF build

So I want a THF build, obviously, but need advice on how to do it. Heres the points I want to stress:
1. Class: Preferably Fighter, but if you have reason for other class Ill listen
2. Im F2P so and kinda new so dont have a real way to get all the super awesome uber gear ATM
3. Im also kinda poor plat. wise so no suggestions like 'get a bunch of +2 tomes and go crazy'
4. This will be one of my 'For Fun' toons

Ill listen to all advice but probably wont follow YOUR build 100% as I have some ideas as of what I want to do.

Do it then, I'm not going to lie. Making your own class to your own specifications as you go along is fantastic! Even if you end up gimping your class you can always just get a lesser heart and respec.

I've made several Carbon Copies, and several of my own builds. I much prefer my own builds because you understand everything you do to them as you go along.

I truly suggest you do it.

The thing is I dont want to put all the time into this toon and then at later levels be frustrated that its worthless in quests as that would be unfun

Look for Shade's max DPS build.

If you want a fighter, you could go dwarf with greataxes. Max STR and CON, and you're done. Take feats in order to get kensei, as well as improved critical, the 3 THF feats, and power attack. Any other feats are just gravy.

If you're looking for something a little more specific than Shade's build, check this one (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?p=2438273). (Just make it a dwarf if you don't have Warforged purchased.)

Sure, it is a possibility you can screw it up.
But, scrounge up $10 around your house and just get a lesser heart.
You can respec your entire stats/enhance/feats everything and you don't lose your EXP.
So, really.
Go with your own build man.
Carbon Copies are for non innovative loosahs.
