Duo with a Barbarian, Bastion of the outlands

First, have him reroll while it's not too late. Bastion of the Outlands is among the worst paths (there's one barbarian path you can follow in this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=232660) instead).

Besides that, a barbarian definitely benefits from a healer, so Cleric is a good idea (arcane caster too if he's a warforged). Cleric/Rogue is nice since you can avoid missing on locked stuff (which is always a bit frustrating when exploring the game). Not sure about where's a good build for that, but the cleric forums probably has one (look for a thread by Impaqt with cleric builds too).
