quick question on intimidate

ok so for fun I am building a halfling intimitank. I heard they get a -4 penalty to intim but after I made him and was running some lowbie quests I noticed his intim does not a -4 in either is state sheet or on his die roll for intim.

He has a 13 intim at lvl 4.

7 from skills
1 from ftr enhancement
3 from feat skill focus
2 from cha stat

and like I said his stat sheet says he has a 13 intim and so does his die rolls for intim. So did they fix it to wear halflings do not suffer a -4 for intimidation checks?

You're probably measuring your DC against another small creature (most likely a kobold) so you have no bonuses or penalty.

All other player races get a +4 bonus against small creatures.

ok :) that makes sense :) so anything large or taller I will get a -4 penalty to intimidate that creature. That is what I needed to know :) thanks :)

Actually, unless I'm mistaken, you receive cumulative penalties based on the size of the creature. So you'd get -4 against a medium creature (like a hobgoblin or orc) but -8 against a large creature (ogre or hill giant); a human intimitank would only get -4 against such foes. My numbers may be off, but that is the general idea.

I have one (level 19)- tis fun :)

I would take bull-headed as well; essentially making up for the Halfling size penalty with feats that players don't necessarily take.
