If this feature is already in DDO my apologies, but I couldn't find it. There should be a feature in game that allows you to temporarily block incoming mail, like when your mailbox is full. Since we don't have guild banks yet, a lot of us have created our own guildbank characters. As you can imagine, it's easy to fill inventory and bank space up, and would be very nice to temporarily suspend incoming mail, signaling your guildmates to send to the next available guildbank character. Thanks for listening, and if this is already in game, please point me in the right direction...Gum

BTW-is there any way to remove the dang gold limit on f2p accounts without going p2p? lol, I have two messages on one of my guildbank characters with gold in them, but I can't open the message due to the gold limit, so it just sits there and takes up space. It wont even allow me to take the limit I can carry at one time. Furthermore, it gives no warning or error message when sending gold to a f2p who will not even be able to touch it. Talk about a pain in the rump. Guild mates can't send gold to bank characters, and extra loot can't be sold for guild profit because of a gold limit. It would be nice to be able to verify you have a VIP account, and use it to remove the gold limit, or have something else in place that doesn't punish f2p accounts on the amount of gold we can hold. It's absurdly low atm, and really works against the whole concept of having bank characters for your guildmates, and should be looked into. Thanks..Gum

If you try to send mail to a character with no room in their "inbox" it will bounce back to you with a message the character has no room for new messages. You can then open your mail and send to your next bank character.

The only way to up the gold limit to the best of my knowledge is to level up. The higher the character level, the higher the gold limit.

Indeed. What I was suggesting *Casts Mass Suggestion on Turbine* is that there be a feature for your mailbox to act like this even when it's not full. For example, you send your buddy some mail, and you get a message that says something like, we're sorry, but at this time that character is not receiving any incoming mail to his box. Since we don't have a in-game guild bank, this would be a major help to those of us who have ventured out on our own with guildbank characters, and would make for good efficiency. Guildmates send their donations to one character until that bank is full, player toggles their mailbox to *off*, guildmates send to next available guildbank character.

lol Well, I went ahead and bought some Turbine points on the guildbank accounts, and now I don't have that low gold limit. Not the best option, but an option nonetheless :p
