Improved TWF - I have it, but am I using it?

Hey people - I recently leveled to Rgr6/Rog3 and got the ITWF feat. The requirements are:
* Dexterity 17 or higher
* Base Attack Bonus +6 or higher
* Two Weapon Fighting

For a reason I'm not sure of, my DEX line is in red. My base DEX is 16, items and enhancements bring it to 22.

Of course, the question is, is this feat working? Or should I drop my stat pt on DEX when I get to lvl12?

Rangers don't need to meet the pre-requisites for any of the feats they are automatically granted.

You have it. It wouldn't allow you to take the feat if you did not meet the requirements. In this case, you meet the requirements because you have ranger levels rather than because your dex is high enough. Rangers automatically qualify for ITWF, regardless of their dex.

you have it, and its working. You get the feat for free due to your ranger level. Being a level 6 ranger excludes you from the 17 dex requirement.

Tamp....plz take note that ability score pre-reqs for feats have to come from ur base score (what u originally rolled it as when u created ur character) + tomes + level up ability increases which u get at 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.

U can seriously ruin ur build if u plan in items as they do not count towards feat pre-req.

For instance if u would have wanted that ITWF feat on a non ranger.....u would have either had to use a +1 dex tome or put a point into dex for one of ur level up increases.

Just remember, if you are stopping @ 6 levels of ranger, you will need 17 base dex to continue the chain. (for GTWF)
