Lessah and Samius' New DDO Podcast!

You read it right - can this be considered DDOcast's first "spin-off" show?!?! Maybe. Either way, Lessah and Samius have been motivated to begin doing a mid-week show of their own to discuss DDO and everything therin. Here's the word from 'em:

Cocktail Hour with Lessah and Samius!

As it turns out, Lessah and Samius of the DDO Cast had so much to talk about this week, that they decided to record a separate show! If things work out… the show will be hosted regularly by Lessah and Samius on their own RRS feed via CyberEars! (Our favorite podcast hosting site!)

Get your favorite drink and sit down with Lessah and Samius as they enjoy a tasty beverage. On this pilot show you can get the run down on the mysterious origins of these two nuts. Get a run down of their favorite crafting rituals and even learn what Lessah (and Samius) is wearing! And a contest or two and much much more, on this weeks Cocktail Hour with Lessah and Samius.

Here's a LINK (http://www.cyberears.com/cybrss/8615.mp3) to their first show, left-click to play, right-click and 'save as' to download as an mp3. Additionally, here's a LINK (http://www.cyberears.com/podcasts/podcast_5701.xml) to their RSS feed, where you can subscribe to get all of their shows. Here's a LINK (http://www.cyberears.com/index.php/Browse/playaudio/8615) to their spot on Cyberears where you can listen to the shows with a built-in player.

Oh, and awesome to see them go through Cyberears for this. Good to see the Cyberfolks getting more DDO love.

This is quite cool, can't wait to see how things develop in the coming weeks. Between this and Yak's Cast it's like DDO is FINALLY starting to get a bunch of good podcasts after years of just little 'ol me. Good to see/hear.

I know you probably uploaded it in the evening but that would be my morning, which is when I downloaded and listened a few minutes after it was posted on the DDOCast website and I would like to say that this should continue if two things can be guaranteed...

#1
Lessah Laughs every episode. You can talk about the underpants fashion of dwarven women for all I care, as long as Samius makes Lessah laugh I give it two thumbs up and a couple toes. Wednesday mornings are when I have to do staff disciplinaries and listening to the show before going in works better than a pot of coffee and 2 boxes of cigarettes ;)

#2
Both of them continue to do Sound concepts because I would have to slit my wrists if Jerry tried to give build advice :p
No offence Jerry but even though you have some great characters I think they suit your personality more than being good builds ;)
(I tried to be as diplomatic as possible with that one, did I succeed?)

Great show guys, definitely something I would check out in future, but Jerry always comes first so give me a reason to download both :D

I am glad you all like the show so far. I don't think we are ready for a weekly show just yet, but we will see.

Neither of us are leaving ddocast, but I am not to sure how many Lessah and Samius crossovers we will have, the idea is to not make ddocast become Lessah and Samius cast. So we might go back to each doing our own segments again.

The body of the Cocktail hour will be fun and games, where we will do more helpful bits for ddocast.

Thanks for your feed backs and keep the posts/emails coming in, the more posts the sooner we will record another.

And you don't have to worry about being the winner of a dirty pic of me some brave souls have already emailed in, Woots!

Truer words have not been said. Although I think my Mockduck cleric on Sarlona, Veiovis on Sarlona and now Mockduck on Orien are all good builds and do really well, I admit that giving build advice should probably be left to people far more knowledgable than me.

Loved the first episode, and looking forward to the next.

I really liked the format, kinda like two people just talking about what they like.

Keep at it, please

Awesome first episode guys. /thumbs up

About the rituals.

Binding and Attuning = ML^2

No minimum level requires 400 shards, because the game assumes it is a minimum level 20 item. 20^2, or 20x20 = 400.

Min Level 2 = 2x2 = 4 shards
Min Level 10 = 10x10 = 100 shards
