Way back when it used to be Argonessen. Now they seem pretty close.
The new servers (Cannith/Orien) will have a higher player-base/concentration at low levels.

But Ghallanda has a nice close knit community, where almost everybody knows everybody.

Yup. Small close knit community, a new guy would wanna get to know as many "good" players as possible and have fewer restrictions on your LFM's.

example:

- lfm for quest X need 1 healer, 2 dps, 1 rogue, 1 caster, 1 other. That lfm gets no love.


- lfm for quest x, in progress, all welcome, bring your own heals. You should have a full group before you get 10' in the door. Good players and clerics are attracted to groups that look like everyone can take care of themselves.


As you get higher in level your raid groups will generally be the same mix of 36 or so different people and thier alts, sprinkled with some newer players here and there.

Nobody knows but Turbine. It will depends on the time of day too. One way to get an idea is to log on different servers at the times of day you are planning to play most, and check the number of LFMs + people in the Who list.
