Need Advice for returning player.

I’m back after a yearlong break, and I have the reflexes of a dead squirrel! I left right after TOT last year. As I’m working on that reflex thing I was hoping maybe you guys could give me a run down on the major quests.

Vision of Destruction/Abbot/Etc.
Melee: What a melee charter has to bring to new quests.
DO’s and DON’Ts
Casters: What spells do a wiz and soc must have to run?
DO’s and DON’Ts
Healers: What buffs should I use?
DO’s and DON’Ts
And the new quests.

I’m totally clueless and I certainly don’t want to be a burden on any groups I run with. I’d like to be prepared before I waste mnemonic pots on my own stupidity.
Any input would be a big help! Or wipe a group.:D

Are you asking what buffs healers should use for those quests/raids or in general?

yo man, long time no see. healing has pretty much ramped up since the introduction of vod and hound, pots and scroll whipping are mandatory

tod: 3 part raid. 1st part = beatdown on 2 bosses. 2nd part = beatdown on one boss while caster kites stuff. 3rd part = megabeatdown on main boss while clerics/casters healing main (hopefully wf) tank

i haven't been in here since changes but you need boots on all your toons now. they can be got in amrath

vod: kill the main boss. it's a long fight (30 minutes or so)
wf melees are a priority, because the boss in here throws a curse every other hit or so that makes healing impossible. however wf healing bypasses this debuff. a high ac tank (>80) should be able to tank him as well.
casters need to load reconstruct but it's not 100% necessary. expect to CC bats with web, wail
everyone: remove curse pots
don't load in from portal and move to middle

it's a fairly long fight

hound: 3 little doggies kill big doggie. you can't hurt big doggie until 3 lil ones knock her down
casters: greater hero on everyone
melee: be able to kill stuff :) not much else, self sufficiency
healers: heal scrolls for the dogs. your job is the biggest, to heal the dogs.

Thanks a Tots, I noticed theres a lot more crafting going on. Anything I should be focusing on as fair as raid loot goes. Greater Destruction is that the new vendor fadder or is it a good VoD debuffer.
