I opened a quest on the wrong difficulty help!

I tried re-entering...abandoning and taking it again.

The difficulty is locked. And now I'm getting a re-entry penalty as well.

Anyway to reset this?

2 polite things you can do -

1) enter an explorer area, summon a hireling, and dismiss hireling.

2) leave quest and wait 5 min for it to reset.

You can also join a group with someone and drop group this will reset the instance.

I usually ask a guildy to invite me and drop so I can reset an instance.

This is the best bet. Just send a /tell (politely) asking someone with an LFM up if they mind if you join and drop from their group to reset your instance, 2 in 3 people will say 'fine'.

(Don't ask people with groups that are almost full, go for empty ones so you don't fill the group and make the LFM disappear).
