Problem with the Social/LFM feature

I like to start groups and I do so by using the Social Interface. Many times I'll have a party of 3 or 4 and we will set off on a quest. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to turn the LFM off once we get started. I hate having people constantly request to join when we are in the thick of it. I asked fellow group members in-game and they had no clue. I saw a check box that read, "Advertise as looking for more players." I thought this would be it but it makes no difference, my group still shows up in the LFM list. Help? Thanks again.

Click the box, then update your party.

If this happens and the 'Advertise' box is unchecked just give the star to someone else then get it back, this will remove your LFM.
