I'm looking to join a guild that actually plays DDO to experience it and not to be the fastest to twenty and/or having the shortest completion time for a quest....thinking maybe a light RP guild. I'm a relatively new player (Started just around when F2P came...see forum start date) who has a general grasp of the game but am learning as I go quite swiftly thanks to helpful players(thanks to all of you).
If you want to see my chars (suggestions welcome :D) their in my sig with levels averaging 4-7 (had a lvl 11 but I screwed him up alot so I deleted him and made Alzea)
Oh and if it matters I'm Male 23 and have a Mic/Headset and I'm F2P (Premium) but I own alot of the adventure packs I can list them if you want.
My play time isn't really on any schedule but I do work full time so I'll usually only be on 3-4 hours a day except my days off (which vary as I do shift worK) but my time zone is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Note1: Perma-death isn't really my thing
Note2: AZ Inc. and Smokey's Need not apply
Note3: I'm not just looking for a guild tag to feel special I want to try to contribute and/or learn

I mostly have a predudice against your leader (AZ Inc.) the guy spends his time trying to rip off newbies with his "shares" and giving out false info or just plain flaming. Joining his guild is like I support that

That would depend entirely on your definition of fun. My idea of fun in the game and yours could be very different.

Fun: something that provides mirth or amusement lol
When I say fun I mean actually experience the game...read some flavor text maybe a little light RP (or not) not calculating your xp/hr or w/e
Purchasing an adventure pack or race based on its quirks and interesting factor not because it has the uber axe of awesomeness
(I bought WF because it's different than your standard human, dwarf, elf(or drow),Halfling (or other short people) fantasy line up.)
Basically I already have a job I don't need another one I just wanna slay some evil outsiders or something not beat the record for running through a quest naked in 2:11 instead of 2:12 or get screamed at because I dared chat in dungeon or actually want to do the optionals, etc.
:) that help?
Short and Sweet: I'm usually referred to as a "Flower-sniffer"

looting, raiding, and grinding with cold buisness like percision isnt fun to you?
I have limited playtime, so when it is productive, it = fun. :D

I'll talk to you in game.
Hi :) if you are interested in joining a guild, my guild, Credendo Vides is recruiting. We have a balanced mix of new and experienced players. We believe in helping our members level their characters, with items and advice. We also have weekly guild runs and actively discourage zerging. The game means a lot to all of us and I like to instill that in the younger/new players that join our guild. We have a lot of range of experience in our members, from several girls age 15 to 22 who have never played DDO or tabletop paper & pencil, to guys who played tabletop when it came out in the late 70's. While leveling up is the main consideration for all players we also teach that it is not a race, so that you can enjoy the game as you progress. We have just created a guild web page as well and when the GuildHouses are added we will have one of those. Thank you for your consideration :)

ps if you are interested send a mail message to Holly in game.

Rather than start a new thread I thought i would add here. I am looking to enjoy the game once more having relocated from the Euro Server Keeper.
I am looking for a guild that want to enjoy the dungeons in character with a light roleplay style. Not happy to zerg and neither am I a powergamer type. More into building my characters over a steady period of time and happy to help folk out where needed.
I am usually in game Evenings and weekends on Euro times and am currently on F2P premium and building my available expansion packs as I go. My current levels available are lvl4 Sorceress (Shenanigan so is extreame RP character) lvl 5 wizard and lvl 6 paladin.
I would fit the mature player description but happy to play with any folk who are 'sensible' regardless of age group.
If you do not wish to post on this thread please send an in game mail to Nykodemus. Thanks.

Are there no euro based guilds that play for fun then?

I'm somewhere in between these two, as an example, though generally the first.
I'm told that I am a rare type.
I also enjoy pranks played on ignorant or oblivious people that have no long term repercussions whatsoever. Example there: I play a /death joke on some newbies in a public instance and hand them plat if they can't fix their gear. I will NOT do a /death prank in a quest or raid.
Again, serving as an example only. I live in Ordos Draconum on Argonnessen, if you ever get tired of Thelanis.

I've played with a lot of CLAW members lately. Good gents if a bit on the quiet side, but sometimes quiet is nice. :) They seem to be on allot for my late night pugging adventures.

We are kinda quiet in pugs mostly because were concentrating on staying alive (not all pugs are bad though :D)...but our guild chat is quite lively and were all 18+ so nothing about Dor the Explora or anything. All in all I've found I really like CLAW and don't plan on going anywhere else.

We are probably quiet in PUG's because the guild chat always has something going on.. jokes, DDO build discussions .. something... or we are just making fun of Lugs...
