Deleras Tomb ?

Well Turbines F2P model has worked out well for them, they ended up prying $50 from my cheap wallet. I bought Deleras Tomb last night and had a question. I did the first chapter with a group. Then talked to deleras and got a quest to go into Necromancers Doom (or something) for Chapter 2, and the group fell apart.

The question is, if I get into another group, can I do chapter 1 over again? And is it hard to find people who are only on chapter 2?

Welcome and gratz on buying one of the better packs in the game.

You can absolutely do chapter 1 over again (also known as Deleras 1-3, Necro is often referred to as Deleras pt4) and/or you will find that you have no problem getting groups to fill JUST to do the Necro as it has great xp.

Basically, parts 2 & 4 have a ton of xp so you will find many people running this chain over and over for the great xp, named end loot and general good time.

The good end rewards come from finishing the Necro (pt4) and thus closing out the entire Deleras series. There is some great named loot in there. The stuff you get from Derek for finishing chapter 1/part1-3 is random garbage but the true end rewards are great.

You do not have to reset the quest chain if you are going to redo 1-3 +4. But you will miss out on an end reward from Derek at part 3 (not that big of a deal). If the group you get in is planning on running the whole thing (1-4), then go ahead and reset it. By not resetting it, it leaves the option open to you to just run part 4 if you see a group doing it.

Whew... long rambling answer but I think you get the gist of it.

Anyway, enjoy Deleras and run it often. Remember that the named end rewards (after part4 Necros) is bound to account not character so you can essentially trade the items down to lowbies as needed. The only exception to this is a named piece called the Voice of the Master (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s220/jgould2005/DDO/Items/Trinkets/VoiceoftheMaster.jpg) which is bound to character but it ALWAYS drops every time you run the chain.

If you want cliffs notes.. Yes you can get a group just for part 4. Doing parts 1-3 again is nice EXP though, so dont consider it a loss.

Thanks for the info guys. I finally finished part 4 and yeah it is a very lucrative dungeon. Was about 10K xp on hard, and on top of it a +5% XP trinket!! Plus can keep repeating it over and over, didn't know about that. Ran it 4 times in a row, but couldn't get end reward.

Someone said if do all 4 parts start to finish can get another end reward, probly do that this weekend if anyone interest :)

If you want to get another reward you'll have to reset the quest chain, but you can do so if you want another named item.
