Hey everyone, I'm looking to gather some info on AC.

Before you tell me EVERYONES AC is different, and it ALL depends on items/classes, I know.
I'm asking what your ac is at your level with your gear that boosts you're AC and class. in short I've been wondering if my AC is bad/normal/good/great at my level. It is 1monk/1fighter/10ranger 230hp 36AC self buffed, but I met a fighter the other day same level but 55 AC and 300hp or so he said. I'm wondering can a level12 get 55 AC? I am rather still new to DDO by the way.

This is my AC:
28point build.
Base - 10.
+ 6 DEX.
+ 3 WIS.
+ 5 Armor bonus.
+ 2 Shield bonus.
+ 4 Deflection Bonus.
+ 2 Feat bonus.
+4 Natural armor bonus. (Barkskin)
= 36.

I will update when I hit 13.

I know at level 13 (4k to level) I can get a +5 deflection cloak so that will be 37 and I'll get a dex tome+1 and a +5 dex item so that will be another 1 = 38 and a +6AC bracelet thats 39 and I think my barkskin will give me another +1 so = 40. I am a tempest ranger, DPS so I know AC is not my main roll but I do enjoy having it, it's not like i am dropping DPS for my AC am I?

my wizard self buffs to a 60AC, it really really is more gear (and possibly a monk splash or two) than anything else.

My fighter is beholder-ac of 56, but that's with some raid gear (chattering ring), AC ritual on the shield, and fighter mastery feats. Getting an AC in the high-40's is fairly easy, mid-50's takes work.

Honestly though, unless I am soloing or acting as the "tank" in a quest, I run TWF and power attack as opposed to S&B and CE. Being able to turtle-up is nice, but being able to kill things is even better.

Edit: Per request, Gunnet is level 15. I don't think his AC has changed since level 13 or so though. He is a TR though, so I have all my old equipment.

Side note: Gunnet's AC could be as high as 60 beholder-ac if I were to craft an insight 4 shroud item.

The nice thing is you can cast displacement, that 50% miss chance makes your AC much better, I never get to many shot people with displacement when I miss half the time how can I improve curse then paralyzing them? (talking wayward lobster)

True Seeing > Displacement

Mantle of the Worldshaper + Voice of Master > Displacement

get a true seeing item

I never heard of a true seeing item, it sounds very nice, do you happen to know what items have it? like braces necklaces weapons, or is it just a named item that has it? Also a level requirement would be nice to know.

Or the aforementioned and very easily obtainable items of "Voice of the Master" (guarenteed drop from Delera) and "Mantle of the Worldshaper" (guarenteed drop from Threnal)
