Dragon Touched 20th completion

As nearly EVERY community member has stated, the current DT lottery system is a bad one. In order to make this slightly less frustrating I propose the following change=


Upon the characters 20th rune turn in, they finally get to CHOOSE what the result will be!
1. 20th eldritch ritual=
Choose the Eldritch property desired
2. 20th tempest ritual=
Choose the Tempest propert desired
3. 20th soverign ritual=
Choose the soverign property desired


This way characters (through ALLOT of farming) can finally get what they want/need on their DT armor. In addition, end game characters will actually run DT quests again as they can now custom craft multiple DT armors. The current system burns most people out so they just end up saying "to heck with it!":D

The whole random rune thing is unappealing.
the first 10 or so times is doable, after that no one wants to play there anymore.
A better mechanism for rune identification is needed.

I would like to see the end reward option after 20 runs to be able select an identified rune.

I would be happy with the simplest of changes. Just change the flag (retroactively) on the runes from "Binds to Character" to "Binds to Account" ... then I would actually run that series again.

they have not cared, and they dont care right now, BUT when this mod stops making them money ie. no f2p people buy it, the new profit-minded turbine will alter it and make it easy for the noobs to get their dt, encouraging thousands of dollars in quick revenue when all the f2p'rs buy it. but they have enough going on right now, the loot is good enough that some people will still grind the **** out of it, so why would they change it until they have to. they certainly dont care about your dt armor failure or frustration.

This. I had great luck with my ranger's armor, and had like 20 different runes lieing around...would love to be able to transfer those to other toons.

They already have the perfect system in place called Epic Crafting, just mimic that in Dragon Touched and every1 would run it again. 20 eldritch u choose what u want, 15 tempest u choose, 10 soveregn u choose. Easy, retains the "Grind" factor turbine is in love with and is doable.

I agree the subject has been brought up repeatedly, although I disagree that the dev's don't care/won't change it

It is unlikely that it will change unless there is a strong enough push from the players in game(lack of players doing those particular quests) or via the forums. The more we bring up our displeasure with aspects of the game the more likely these grievences will influence the future development and potentially a rework of areas that are in need of fixing.

Let's not fool ourselves, they are not going to drop projects that have been in the works for a couple of years to go back and change some reward tables for quests that are functioning as they had originally intended. It will take a significant lack of interest such as no one buying the refuge pack that is a VIP because everyone in the advise channel says don't bother , its not worth it because the end rewards are too much of a grind. It will take some $ person asking the devs why no one is buying the refuge pack before the dev's can say well... in the forums there is a lot of chatter about...and we could fix it by......

Til then our only recourse is to boycott the quests ourselves and disuade players from going to these quests and to voice our reasons for why we don't like how the quests are on the forums.
