View Full Version : Falling damage triggers Conc Opp?

noticed that on my way to adq: as i pressed jump to late i fell down at the first jump part and took falling damage
after a rc and a return to the desert i noticed my conc opp did trigger the hp portion though not a single mob attacked me
does falling damage trigger it too?

That's interesting. I wonder what other types of damage can trigger it:
Vicious, traps.....

I for one am hoping this isn't true or else I'll wind up going out of my way to build a minimum jump wiz and have him slam himself against the ground at every available minute.
Don't make me the guy who keeps leaping off of cliffs and scrolling himself back up when the group stops for smoke breaks!

Certain traps that deal physical damage (dart traps, blade traps, etc.) can trigger it.

you'd actually have to build a Max jump with no tumble wizard. ANd since the CO effects goes off so seldom, you'd spend more time jumping than doing anything else.
I assume ALL damage can trigger the effect... WOuld be interesting to see if Vicious would....

Ah right, Tumble reduces fall damage, not jump; forgot about that, thanks. :)
Haven't taken my FF boots off of any character to have to worry about that in a long while.

as vicious works for conc opp, can anyone make a test if airguards triggers through it too? as im in a tod atm i cant check it would it would be nice for those barbs if it does i think...no more hastepot chucking^^

ok, airguard doesnt work, at least it didnt go off after 130-140 hits
anyone has an earthen guard item to test that one ? :)

ok, did a retest with dual vicious and 3 conc opp equipped and after about 300 hits and half a portal down it didnt go off once
then i tried it with conc opp in the mainhand and offhand empty for about 5/8 of what was left of the portal and it didnt go off once
then i used conc opp in mainhand and vicious in offhand for the rest and it didnt go off once
the first test i did above was with vicious in mainhand and conc opp in offhand, gonna redo that test in 5 mins (**** reset times) but if that doesnt work either i have no idea what caused it to trigger previously

ok, could NOT reproduce it, concopp + vicious and vicious+concopp, neither worked, used half a portal for each
so, anyone maybe has any idea why it worked here just after a few hits:
