Update Three ... you know . it would be ok just to have one or two things released which actually worked instead of a bunch of cr*p that doesn't work and that nobody needed.
We don't ask for much .. really we dont. A New quest this month .. Lesser Reincarnation .. hey, everything would be fine .. but they had to totally screw the pooch and heap a steaming pile of bugs that are p*ssing off us vets to no end.
Casual Mode .. come on really? I tried a devil battle field quest on casual mode .. you'd have to be a brain dead ferret to not be able to complete a quest on casual. And has the irony of Casual Mode having caused so many major problems been lost on any one?
So what have you been spending your time on programming anyway? Anything good?
Oh .. you took the wings away from Tue Reincarnates .. why? You spent time (and money) programming them on .. only to remove them a couple months later?
Wow.
But maybe you've spent your time programming something useful .. but wait .. now in the middle of combat a big MYDDO screen pops up while I'm trying to heal or move ... and no way to remap the keys without a degree in programming .. the juxtaposition between that and Casual Mode .. again .. who is running this company?
Are there any people in Turbine management who actually even passed highschool level business courses?
My Subscription Renewal Date is Feb 7th. I cancelled my subscription. I must practice what I preach and what I preach is, "Its only a game with elves and dragons .. if it causes stress and is not fun then time to step away."
Update Three has brought about that long overdue game break.
It is my sincere hope that many more follow until Turbine can find somebody that knows how to run a business and a game developer who actually owns a copy of the D&D books and maybe even a few hours playing the game.
I am sad that my efforts to teach new players this game via my weekly Raid Trains will go to the wayside but I'm tired of spending money on a broken product.
Maybe I'll return but frankly I'm hoping another D&D MMO will be created .. one that is developed by people who have actually played D&D and ran by people with some skill in running a business.
