Update Three ... you know . it would be ok just to have one or two things released which actually worked instead of a bunch of cr*p that doesn't work and that nobody needed.

We don't ask for much .. really we dont. A New quest this month .. Lesser Reincarnation .. hey, everything would be fine .. but they had to totally screw the pooch and heap a steaming pile of bugs that are p*ssing off us vets to no end.

Casual Mode .. come on really? I tried a devil battle field quest on casual mode .. you'd have to be a brain dead ferret to not be able to complete a quest on casual. And has the irony of Casual Mode having caused so many major problems been lost on any one?

So what have you been spending your time on programming anyway? Anything good?

Oh .. you took the wings away from Tue Reincarnates .. why? You spent time (and money) programming them on .. only to remove them a couple months later?

Wow.

But maybe you've spent your time programming something useful .. but wait .. now in the middle of combat a big MYDDO screen pops up while I'm trying to heal or move ... and no way to remap the keys without a degree in programming .. the juxtaposition between that and Casual Mode .. again .. who is running this company?

Are there any people in Turbine management who actually even passed highschool level business courses?

My Subscription Renewal Date is Feb 7th. I cancelled my subscription. I must practice what I preach and what I preach is, "Its only a game with elves and dragons .. if it causes stress and is not fun then time to step away."

Update Three has brought about that long overdue game break.

It is my sincere hope that many more follow until Turbine can find somebody that knows how to run a business and a game developer who actually owns a copy of the D&D books and maybe even a few hours playing the game.

I am sad that my efforts to teach new players this game via my weekly Raid Trains will go to the wayside but I'm tired of spending money on a broken product.

Maybe I'll return but frankly I'm hoping another D&D MMO will be created .. one that is developed by people who have actually played D&D and ran by people with some skill in running a business.

Did it prolly due to Community request - you know, the numerous posts asking for it to be gone. They listened...

Well, there are several posts telling you how to 'fix' that and one only takes a few mouse clicks - but since you are going to quit, won't waste my time again.

Best of luck to you and safe travels.

Sadly I do see many people leaving. Even sadder when such great players like the OP leave.

I don't agree with the presentation of this thread but...

There's a lot of vets who've been playing this game for a long time. Have 20th level true rez toons, green steel, raid loot and are pimped out from using the tools YOU GAVE US and we want a place to use it as opposed to Jeets Part III.

Please give us something that will kick our collective butts, puzzles we can sink our teeth into and obstacles we can't just chop-chop our way through. You did it with Titan, Abbot and many other quests to a lesser degree. The talent is there.

If there isn't something along that lines in the next mod you will start to see a drop off of old players. You gave us the proverbial Ferrari now please give us a place to drive it.

Thanks :D

Sorry to see you go, and we'll still be here if you change your mind.
